Questo nostro incontro è stato anticipato, in un certo senso, dalla mia visita dell'8 giugno scorso al Santuario Mariano di Licheń. Durante i pochi momenti che ho potuto trascorrere con i vostri Confratelli ho notato la presenza di giovani ed anziani insieme ed ho saputo che c'erano Padri provenienti da diverse parti del mondo. È stata un'edificante immagine di comunione fraterna. L'impegno di consolidare e approfondire questa comunione era uno degli obiettivi che la vostra Congregazione si era posta per il sessennio che sta volgendo alla fine. W ciągu kilku chwil spędzonych z waszymi współbraćmi mogłem zauważyć, że stali obok siebie bracia bardzo młodzi i bracia zaawansowani w latach, a wiem także, że byli tam ojcowie przybyli z różnych stron świata. Stanowiło to budujący obraz braterskiej komunii. Umacnianie i pogłębianie braterskiej komunii było jednym z zadań, które Zgromadzenie postawiło sobie w dobiegającym końca part of the world they find themselves, especially to the sick and to the suffering.
