Papczyński for composing the Rule of Life, and proof of the authenticity of its text, are given in the critical edition,9 which also explains the arrangement and scholastic method used for the current edition of the NV. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the Rule of Life no longer legally binds members of the Congregation of Marian Fathers, which was renovated in 1909.
