Co więcej, patrząc na historię Stowarzyszenia Pomocników Mariańskich, mogę ufać, że w przyszłości Stowarzyszenie to stanie się jeszcze bardziej istotnym narzędziem w uwrażliwianiu świeckich na naszą misję i nasze potrzeby, do promowania powołań do naszego Zgromadzenia i formowania tudzi świeckich w duchu naszego charyzmatu. Zarząd Generalny zabiega obecnie o aprobatę Statutów Stowarzyszenia Pomocników Mariańskich przez Stolicę Świętą. Całym sercem zachęcam prowinq'e, wiceprowincję i wikariaty Zgromadzenia, aby rozważyły możliwość założnia Stowarzyszenia Pomocników Mariańskich w podległych im krajach. Te i podobne iniqatywy wyrażają duszpasterską troskę w duchu specyfiki mariańskiego charyzmatu, który dotychczas nie był wyraźnie ukazany w pracach Zgromadzenia. W świetle tego wydaje mi się, ż:e powinny one otrzymać speqalne wsparcie i uznanie pośród apostolskich zadań Zgromadzenia. Wyraziłem powyżej uznanie dla rozwoju apostolatu, który zaobserwowałem w skali całego Zgromadzenia, ale muszę też z troską odnotować różne sytuacje, które mają negatywny wpływ na nasze wspólnoty. Further, judging from its history, I believe that in the future the Association will become an even more important tool to alert the laity to our mission and our needs, to promote vocations to our Congregation and to form lay people in the spirit of our charism. The General Administration is currently in the process of seeking the Holy See's approval of the Association's Statutes. I wholeheartedly encourage the Provinces, Vice-Province and Vicariates of the Congregation to consider founding the Association in their respective countries. These and similar initiatives represent a pastoral outreach in relation to specifically "Marian" characteristics that were previously not so clearly expressed in the works of the Congregation. In view of this, it seems to me that they should receive special support and encouragement among the Congregation's apostolic commitments. In the above comments, I have complimented some of the apostolic developments that I have observed in the Congregation world-wide. However, I must also note with concern a different situation that is having a negative impact on our communities. Namely, that the number of apostolic commitments is equal to or greater than the number of available confreres. Several unfortunate consequences follow from this situation: members
