Specjalne miejsce zajmie na Kapitule problematyka formacji, a to w związku z zatwierdzaniem przez Kapitułę projektu Ratio formationis. Będziemy też rozważać projekt mariańskiego Dyrektorium misyjnego. Z pewnością na warsztacie Kapituły Generalnej znajdzie się jeszcze wiele innych, ważnych i przemyślanych problemów. Jednak myśłą przewodnią wszystkich naszych obrad i głosowań musi być to, czego Kościół od nas oczekuje: twórcza wierność naszemu charyzmatowi. Kapituła Generalna ma także wybrać nowy zarząd generalny Zgromadzenia. To zadanie najwyższej wagi wymaga wcześniejszej, poważnej refleksji i usilnej modlitwy. Znawcy spraw zakonnych ostrzegają ojców kapitulnych przed nadmierną produkgą tekstów, których potem i tak nikt nie czyta. O dobrym wyniku Kapituły Generalnej decyduje przede wszystkim wybór odpowiednich jej uczestników (delegatów), a potem wybór dobrego zarządu, (por. p. Jesus Torres CMF "I capitoli", Roma 1996- 1997). Zakończenie Kończąc ten list chcę przypomnieć skierowane do nas przez bł. Jerzego wezwanie do odwagi: Aby zaś przedostać się tam, gdzie widzą największe potrzeby Kościoła, niech nie zaniedbują żadnych środków, choćby im przyszło [...] wystawiać się na wszelkiego rodzaju niebezpieczeństwa (por. Idea przewodnia i duch Zgromadzenia, following areas of concern: de nature et apostolatu, de formatione et vita communi; de votis et vita spirituali; de regimine et administratione bonorum. A special place in the Chapter will be given to the subject of formation and the approval of the Ratio formationis. The discussion will also include the Marian Mission Directory project. With certainty there will be other matters of importance brought to the sessions of the General Chapter. However, the guiding thought of all our deliberations and decisions must be what the Church expects from us, i.e., creative fidelity to our charism. The General Chapter's responsibility is to choose a new general administration for the Congregation. This task, of great importance, requires a prior and deep reflection and an intense prayer. Experts in religious matters warn chapter participants about excessive production of texts, which subsequently no one reads. Whether a chapter will bear a good fruit is decided primarily by a suitable selection of its participants (delegates) and, subsequently, by election of a good administration, (cf. Fr. Jesus Torres, CMF: Icapitoli, Roma 1996-97). Conclusion Concluding this letter I would like to recall Blessed George's summons to courage: to work where they see the greatest need (of the Church), [...] to leave no means untried even if[.}they were to be exposed to all kinds of danger (cf. General Idea of the Congregation and its Spirit, 17-18).
