Znakiem wyraźnym i czytelnym? Znaki czasu Mamy podejmować twórczą inicjatywę, oraz naśladować świętość Założyciela i Odnowiciela, by odpowiedzieć na znaki czasu. Nasz charyzmat musi przynosić owoce w tym świecie, w którym dziś działa Duch Święty, w którym się realizuje Królestwo Boże, w świecie, który dziś, u schyłku wieku XX daje nam Opatrzność. Jakimi znakami przemawia do nas Bóg w naszym czasie? Oto niektóre z nich: Wciąż przybywa na świecie ludzi ubogich i są oni coraz ubożsi, podczas gdy bogaci stają się coraz bogatsi i coraz mniej solidami z ubogimi. Pojawiają się "nowi ubodzy" i nowe rodzaje ubóstwa. Ale też ubodzy duchem jeszcze przechowują najcenniejsze wartości, które pozwalają, mieć nadzieję na odrodzenie świata. Wzrasta przemoc, coraz bardziej bezwzględna, coraz bardziej wy- initiative or creative fidelity is raised before us, not as individuals, but as a community. The charism is not our property, it is a gift of the Spirit, who embraces us, inflames us and guides us into the future.
