ZAKOŃCZENIE Wszystkie zarządzenia i wskazania Kapituły mają służyć apostolskiej posłudze Zgromadzenia. Nie jestemy Zgromadzeniem wielkim; zasięgu naszej pracy nie da się porównać z działalnością wspaniałych, wielkich zakonów. Tym bardziej musimy sie bronić przed rozpłynięciem się w otoczeniu, tym bardziej musimy być wspólnotą o wyrazistym obliczu, co jednak nie oznacza ani partykularyzmu, ani uniformizmu. Jedną z cech naszej duchowości jest otwartość na wszelkie formy apostolstwa i kościelny uniwersalizm. Poświęcone temu fragmenty kapitulnych dokumentów są szczególnie piękne. Odnajdujemy w nich ducha naszego błogosławionego Odnowiciela. Weźmy sobie ich treść do serca. Drodzy Bracia, kapituła w Ariccia poważnie potraktowała przestrogę ojca Generała Donalda Petraitisa, ażeby w konkluzjach nie składać wszvstkiego na przełożonego generalnego i jego radę. Była to przestroga płynąca z doświadczenia i głębokiego poczucia realizmu. Zarząd generalny ma do odegrania rolę służebną, powinien koordynować wysiłki i je inspirować, powinien ochraniać każde dobro, gdziekolwiek się ono w naszej wspólnocie rodzi i je upowszechniać. Jednak rozwój a decline of the religious way of life are the things that kill apostolic work. Is it, however, really so that today our greatest concern is an excess of zeal for the salvation of souls? Strict observance of religious regulations is not in itself a goal, but it is to help us to discover unceasingly the deep sense of our life, which is service. CONCLUSION All dispositions and directives of the Chapter should assist the apostolic ministry of the Congregation. We are not a big Congregation; the extent of our work cannot be compared with the activity of some magnificent religious institutes with great number of members. The more so we have to defend ourselves against being scattered in the surroundings; the more so we have to be a Community of a distinct aspect, which however does not mean either particularism or uniformity. One of the traits of our spirituality is openness to all sorts of apostolates and ecclesial universalism. In the capitular documents, the fragments that speak about it are particulary beautiful. We find in them the spirit of our Blessed Renovator. Let us take their content to heart. Dear Brothers, the Ariccia Chapter took seriously the admonition of Father General Donald Petraitis that in its conclusions the Superior General and his Concil should not be burdened with everything. It was an admonition arising from experience and from a deep sense of realism. The General Council should be at your ser-
