DOKUMENTY KAPITULNE Promulgowane obecnie postanowienia Kapituły są owocem przemyśleń naszych braci przekazanych w postaci wniosków, owocem przemyśleń i dyskusji samej Kapituły a nade wszystko, jak wierzymy, owocem działania Ducha Świętego, którego pomocy pokornie wzywaliśmy na początku każdej sesji. Są więc dyrektywą ważną i wiążącą nas w sumieniu. We właściwym odczytaniu tych postanowień może pomóc uświadomienie sobie sposobu ich powstania. Dokumenty te dzielą się na dekrety, zalecenia, polecenia i odezwy. Ich treść kształtowała się w kontekście konkretnych wspólnot, w określonym klimacie duchowym, jako odpowiedź na określone potrzeby. Ich ostateczne formułowanie dokonywało się najpierw na forum komisji złożonych z przedstawicieli różnych naszych wspólnot, następnie zaś na plenarnym forum kapituły. Często lapidarne sformułowania urzędowego tekstu zamykają w sobie treść długich, indywidualnych i wspólnych przemyśleń. Nie dajmy się więc zwieść owej lapidarności. I właśnie po to, żeby ułatwić wsłuchanie się w głos naszej Kapituły, a ośmielę się powiedzieć, w głos Ducha Świętego, chcę zwrócić Waszą, drodzy Bracia, uwagę na kilka istotnych rysów znamionujących wszystkie owe dokumenty. CAPITULAR DOCUMENTS The Chapter decisions which are now promulgated, are a fruit of the deliberations of our brothers that were presented in the form of proposals, a fruit of deliberations and discussions of the Chapter itself, but above all, as we believe, a fruit of the action of the Holy Spirit, whose assistance we humbly invoked at the beginning of each session. Hence, they are directives that are important and binding on us in conscience. We can be helped to read properly these decisions by being aware of the way they came into existence. These documents are divided into Decrees, Mandates, Recommendations and Appeals. Their content was shaped in the context of concrete communities, in a definite spiritual climate, as a response to definite needs. Their final formulation took place first at the forum of commissions that comprised representatives of our various communities, and afterwards at the plenary forum of the Chapter. Often a terse formulation of an official text contains in itself the content of long - individual and common - deliberations. Therefore we should not be deceived by this terseness.
