m ArCh 31 On March 31, in 1742, Father AUGUSTINE ŻMIJEWSKI (Zhmi-y-ef-ski) died at the parish in Suchożebry (Sukho-zhebri). He is buried in the crypt of the church in Skórzec. In 1800, Father ONUFRIUS JASIŃSKI (Ya-sin'-ski), chaplain to the nobility at Taboryszki, died at the age of 47. He was a religious for 19 years and a priest for 13. In 1799 he was elected president of the monastery in Puszcza Mariańska, but was unable to assume the office because of an illness which shortly caused his death. He is buried in Marijampolė. In 1944, Father ANTHONY PETRAUSKAS (Petra-oos-kas), a member of the Lithuanian Province, which he governed for over two years, died at the age of 63. He was a priest for 40 years and a religious for 17. For a few years he worked pastorally in North America. He was highly regarded as a preacher and writer. He is buried in Marijampolė. In 1970, Brother JOHN BANYS , a member of the house in Marianapolis, Connecticut, and a religious for 41 years, died at the age of 84 in a home for the aged in Putnam, Connecticut. He was a beekeeper, and also served the community as an organist and master of chant. He composed and published various musical scores. He is buried in the section reserved for the Marians in St. Casimir’s cemetery in Chicago. In 2006, Father EUGENE HUK (Khook) died in the 70 th year of his life. He was a religious for almost 52 years and a priest for 43. He served in various Marian parishes, such as Góra Kalwaria, Licheń, Stoczek, Rzepiska, and Goźlin. He is buried in Licheń. M ARCH 53
