† A LBUM OF THE D ECEASED F ATHERS AND B ROTHERS † 144 n oVember 24 On November 24, 1744, Father SERAPHIM died at the monastery in Skórzec, where he is buried. In 1892, Father ANDREW STRUPINSKAS died at the age of 63 in Gilber- ton, Pennsylvania. He was a religious for 44 years. Sometime after the dissolution of monasteries in 1864, he went to the United States, where he built a church and was pastor at a Lithuanian parish in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, where he is buried. n oVember 25 During the month of October or November in 1954, Brother JOSEPH STIRBYS , age 40, a member of the Lithuanian Province, died from cold and hunger not far from his family home. He was a religious for 21 years. His place of burial is unknown. n oVember 26 On November 26, 1983, Brother JOSEPH VOKIETAITIS died at the age of 86. He was a religious for 48 years. He could only stay at the Marijampolė monastery for a few years, but remained faithful to his vocation even during the times of persecution that followed the liquidation of the monasteries. He is buried in the Marian Fathers’ cemetery in Marijampolė. In 1984, BrotherANTHONYBAKŠYS died at the age of 87. He was faithful to his Marian vocation for 55 years regardless of the expulsion of religious from their monasteries and the resulting difficult times. He worked in the sacristy and in the garden. He is buried in Marijampolė. In 1991, Father ANTHONY LIESIS died at the age of almost 80. He was a Marian for 58 years and a priest for 51, having worked in different parishes. He is buried in Marijampolė. In 2014, Father ANDREW KRZYMYCZEK passed away during his 87 th year of life. He was a faithful religious for 60 years and was a zealous and wise priest for 57, having been particularly inspired by our Blessed Renovator. He initial- ly served as a catechist, local superior, novice master, and provincial vicar of the Polish Province. Later, he was sent to work in Brazil, where he ministered in various parishes and carried out the duties of educator of seminarians, novice master, and superior of the Brazilian Vicariate. He zealously promoted the Divine Mercy mes- sage and devotion in Brazil by giving numerous conferences, working on transla- tions and editing and publishing a wealth of materials on The Divine Mercy.
