N OVEMBER 143 In 1754, Father JOHN RAJECKI (Ra-yets-ki), president of the monastery, died at the monastery in Góra Kalwaria, where he is buried. In 1791, Father ISIDORE TAUDT, a “Father of the Order Emeritissimus,” died inWarsaw at the age of 76. He was a religious for 52 years and a priest for over 50. He was a teacher of philosophy and theology for 12 years. He was a praisewor- thy president of the monastery in Raśna. Known for his scholarship and virtuous life, he obtained the dignity of PronotaryApostolic. He was one of the valuable wit- nesses at the process of the beatification of both Father Founder and the Venerable Servant of God Casimir. Held in great esteem by theApostolic Nuncio, bishops and Magnates, he was for over 20 years a chaplain at the Court of Prince Frederick Michael Czartoryski, where he died. He is buried at the church of the Capuchin Fathers, who prepared him for his death. In 1857, Father STANISLAUS MICHAŁOWSKI (Mikha-wof-ski) died of tuberculosis at the age of 28 in the village of Kajmele, Lithuania, where he went to stay with his brother in hope of regaining his health. He was a religious for 9 years and a priest for 2. He is buried in Kajmele. In 1997, Brother VINCENT ZVINGILAS died in Chicago at the age of 89. A religious for 62 years and a pioneer of theMarian Press in Chicago where he labored for more than 50 years, he was a man of deep piety and diligence. He was a sacristan until his death. He is buried in the section reserved for the Marians in St. Casimir’s cemetery in Chicago. In 2020, Father CASIMIR CHROSTOWSKI , a member of the Polish Prov- ince, died at the hospice in Reszel. He was 84 years old, a religious for 66 years and a priest for 52. The majority of his life was spent in service to the Marian Shrine in Stoczek Klasztorny, where he ministered for a total of 48 years. He worked as a pas- toral assistant, catechist, organist, house councilor and supervisor of the major repair work on the organ of the Stoczek Basilica. He is buried in theMarian Fathers’ceme- tery in Stoczek. In 2020, BrotherALBIN MILEWSKI , died at the hospital in Słupca. He was 85 years old and was a religious for 63 years. He entered our community in 1954 in Poland. In 1965, with the superiors’ permission, he went to the U.S. to be with his father and remained in that country for the next 40 years, joining the St. Stanislaus Kostka Province. He fulfilled there, mainly in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, various duties, such as the editor of the monthly Róże Maryi and the Director of the Polish Department at the Marian Helpers Center, as well as the house councilor and trea- surer. In 2009, he returned to Poland where he was assigned to the house in Licheń, where he assisted at the shrine serving as an extraordinary minister of Holy Com- munion. He is buried in Licheń.
