Jesus, Mercy Incarnate

Full of love and mercy, though always holy, Yet, like a good mother, ever bent o’er us (1321). 30. Merciful Heart of Jesus, fortress impregnable against the missiles of our enemies, I trust in You. Andwe expect to obtain everything promised us by Jesus [at the hour of death] in spite of all our wretchedness.
