25. Merciful Heart of Jesus, the sun on our journey to heaven, I trust in You. I keep going forward bravely--though my feet become wounded—tomy homeland and, although the desert is fear- ful, I walk with lifted head and eyes fixed on the sun; this is to say, on the merciful Heart of Jesus (886). 26. Merciful Heart of Jesus, in whom the most light is obtained, I trust in You. I know that I am close to the most merciful Heart of Jesus... and in one moment I learn more than during long hours of intellectual inquiry and meditation.
