Divine Mercy Weekend 2026

7 LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST OFFERTORY Guidelines for the Reception of Communion As Catholics, we fully participate in the celebration of the Eucharist when we receive Holy Communion. We are encouraged to receive Communion devoutly and frequently. In order to be properly disposed, we should not be conscious of grave sin and should have fasted for one hour before receiving Holy Communion. A person who is conscious of grave sin must not receive the Eucharist without prior sacramental Confession. For those receiving Communion, receiving on the tongue is encouraged. In the event of wind or rain, it may be required. For those of you who are not Catholic, we cannot admit you to Holy Communion, however, we encourage you to express in your hearts a prayer of desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another. COMMUNION HYMN Adore Te Devote arr. chant/ Stephen Grimm (Choir only on odd # verses) 2 Visus, tactus, gustus in te fallitur, Sed auditus solo tuto creditur: Credo quidquid dixit Dei Filius: Nil hoc verbo veritatis verbo verius. 4 Plagas, sicut Thomas, non intueor: Deum tamen meum te confiteor: Fac me tibi semper magis credere, In te spem habere, te diligere. 6 Pie pellicane, Jesu Domine, Me immundum munda tuo sanguine, Cuius una stilla salvum facere Totum mundum quit ab omni scelere. Jesus, My Lord, My God, My All Refrain: Sweet Sacrament, we Thee adore! Oh, Make us love Thee more and more. Oh, Make us love Thee more and more.
