Fall-Winter 2013-2014
E verything I’ve already written in this article has been about evangelization. So why include this category? I do it, first of all, because evangelization is so crucial in our day, as Pope Francis keeps repeating. Also, I do it because I want to highlight that in addition to our usual evangelization activity, the Marians have introduced some remarkable new initiatives. The last few years have seen the founding of our tireless Marian Evangelization Team, which has gone out to more than 250 parishes in the last three years; our Hearts Afire Parish-based Programs, which have brought renewal to more than 20,000 Catholics in the last year and a half; our free app initiative for mobile devices, which has reached more than 150,000 people in nearly 100 countries; and our Divine Mercy Art initiative, which in less than a year has become a leading resource for religious art in the United States because we offer the highest quality at the lowest prices. These initiatives are made possible through the generosity and prayers of our Marian Helpers. I hope you all realize how much good we’re accomplishing together by God’s grace. And from my heart, united with all my Marian brothers, I say, “Thank you!” CONFERENCES: The Marians speak at many conferences each year. We run a major Divine Mercy conference in NewYork City, conferences for Healthcare Professionals for Divine Mercy, and host many special events at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy. Evangelization DIVINE MERCY: Join Friends of Mercy and partner with the Marians in living and spreading the message. DEVOTION TO MARY: Join the Thirteenth of the Month Club and grow in your love of Our Lady, especially through praying the Rosary. WORKS OF MERCY: Support the new initiative “Mercy for the Poor” — to give away high- quality Divine Mercy images to those in need. GET MORE INVOLVED MH
