Kapitua Generalna zapoznała się z Oświadczeniem Konwentu generalnego który się odbył w Fatimie w 1990 r., w sprawie rozumienia charyzmatu Zgromadzenia i jego znaczenia dla formacji i apostolatu. Oświadczenie to Kapituła przyjmuje za własne i podaje jego tekst w następu jącej redakqi: 1. Jasna wizja Mariańskiego charyzmatu jest konieczna dla Zgromadzenia, aby osiągnęło swój cel i spełniło swoją misję w Kościele. Ten charyzmat jest darem Ducha Świętego danym dla Zgromadzenia nie tylko dla własnego dobra duchowego, ale też dla wznoszenia Kościoła w Chrystusie. Jest to dar żywy, którego istotne cechy muszą być nieustannie odkrywane, pogłębiane i przyjęte do serca przez każde pokolenie Marianów. W szczególności wychowawcy muszą starać się o coraz większe uznanie dla tego charyzmatu i jego zrozumienie, jak też o urzeczywistnianie go w słowach i czynach. Ponadto, cechy charakterystyczne Mariańskiej tożsamości muszą być wyraźnie uwzględnianie i zawarte na kaidym etapie formacji. Zgromadzenie potrzebuje ludzi, którzy byliby dogłębnie przepojeni charyzmatem i duchowością, Mariańską; od tego zależy owocność jego apostolatu. 2. The General Chapter has familiarized itself with the Statement of the 1990 General Convention in Fatima with regard to understanding the Congregation's charism and its meaning for formation and the apostolate. The Chapter accepts this Statement as its own and presents it in the following wording: 1. A clear vision of the Marian charism is essential for the Congregation to fulfill its purpose and mission in the Church. This charism is the gift of the Holy Spirit given to the Congregation not only for its own spiritual welfare but to upbuild the Church in Christ. It is a living gift, whose essential characteristics need to be unceasingly rediscovered, deepened and taken to heart by every generation of Marians. Formators, in particular, must strive to deepen their appreciation for the charism and embody it in their words and deeds. Furthermore, the characteristic notes of Marian identity must be explicitly included in every phase of formation. The Congregation needs men who are thoroughly imbued with its charism and spirituality; its apostolic fruitfulness depends on it. 2. The "Marian Way" of formation is distinguished by the folio-
