These are not words that can be taken lightly. The Holy Father challenges the Congregation and we now must seek the best means by which we can carry out this "mission" entrusted to us by the Church. These points should be discussed in each Province with suggestions that might benefit such a task on a more universal level for the entire Congregation. There needs to be reviewed what is lacking in our Marian formation and areas that are weak need to be strengthened to the extent that each Marian contributes to the mission of the Congregation no matter where he might find himself. However, to be effective there must be a real unity of purpose! There must be a real understanding of our role as Marians. But to have a fruitful outcome the Holy Father tells us: "In order to deal effectively with the most urgent pastoral problems, which require of you constant availability and tireless adaptation to increasingly difficult situations, it is indispensable that you give primacy to your spiritual life ...; in a word, that you be able to 'put off your old nature... and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness' (cf. Eph 4:22-24). Wyzwanie, przed jakim Ojciec Święty stawia Zgromadzenie nakazuje szukać nailep- szych środków potrzebnych do wypełnienia misji zleconej nam przez Kościół. W każdej prowincji winno być to przedyskutowane, sugestie zaś wynikłe z tych przemyśleń winny służyć całemu Zgromadzeniu. Należy zbadać, czego brakuje naszej Mariańskiej for- maqi. Te braki trzeba usunąć, umocnić się, aby każdy marianin, gdziekolwiek jest, przyczyniał się do wypełniania misji Zgromadzenia. Osiągnięcie tego jednak będzie uwarunkowane rzeczywistą wspólnotą celu. Potrzebne jest prawdziwe zrozumienie roli, jaka do wypełnienia przypadła nam, Marianom. Ojciec Święty wyraźnie mówi co mamy robić, by nasze wysiłki okazały się owocne: "Dla rozwiązania najpilniejszych problemów duszpasterskich, które wymagają od was ciągłej gotowości, niezmordowanego dostosowywania się do coraz trudniejszych sytuacji nieodzowne jest dawanie pierwszeństwa życiu duchowemu...
