"Omnibus vobis devotionem in Virginem Electissimam... ardenter commendamus" ("Gorąco wam wszystkim zalecamy nabożeństwo do Najwybrańszej Dziewicy" - pisał tak O. Założyciel w 1690 r. do Braci w Mariańskiej Pustelni Korabie wskiej). A pod koniec swego ziemskiego życia, w pierwszym Testamencie (1692 r.), wyraził on swe gorące nabożeństwo w tych piękny eh słowach. "Ścielę się u stóp Najśw. Maryi Panny Matki Bożej, wraz z całym naszym maleńkim Zgromadzeniem Jej Niepokalanego Poczęcia, na wieczność całą: błagając o Jej łaskawość, wstawiennictwo, kierownictwo i jak najskuteczniejszą opiekę" ("Prosterno me ad pedes Beatissimae Virginis Mariae Matris Dei, cum tota nostra Congregatiuncula Eius Immaculatae Conceptionis, in aeternum: implorans Eius clementiam, intercessionem, directionem et protectionem efficacissimam" - Testamentum I). Prawdziwe nabożeństwo jednak nie może być jałowe. Dla Ojca Stanisława Maryja była wzorem do naśladowania. Wyraża on to bardzo jasno w kazaniu, które prawdopodobnie było jednym z jego pierwszych kazań po otrzymaniu święceń kapłańskich (a później ukazało się w jego dziele p. t. "Prodromus Reginae Artium"), gdzie zwraca się do poor, the neglected, the emarginated; 3) his concern for, and complete dedication to, the welfare of the Church Suffering, the poor souls in purgatory. And towards the end of his earthly life, in his first Last Will and Testament (1692), he expressed his unwearied devotion in these beautiful words: "I prostrate myself at the feet of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God - along with our entire little Congregation of Her Immaculate Conception - for all eternity: imploring Her clemency, intercession, direction and most efficacious protection" ("Prostemo me ad pedes Beatissimae Virginis Mariae Matris Dei, cum tota nostra Congregatiuncula Eius Immaculatae Conceptionis, in aeternum: implorans Eius clementiam, interce- sionem, directionem et protectionem efficacissimam" - Testamentum I). But devotion, to be true, can never be a sterile thing. For Father Stanislaus Mary was a model to be imitated. He expresses this quite clearly in what was probably his first priestly sermon (and later also appeared in his literary work "Prodromus Reginae Artium"), wherein he exhorts us in the words of St. Ambrose: "Sit vobis tamquam in
