Dogłębna znajomość źródeł mariańskiej idei zakonnej wzmocni z pewnością nasze przywiązanie do otrzymanego dziedzictwa i pobudzi do wyrażenia go w naszym życiu w sposób odpowiadający dzisiejszym czasom. W tym duchu Kapituła wzywa wszystkich Współbraci do wypełniania wskazań Konstytucji i ostatniego Soboru, abyśmy naszą pracę dla Chrystusa i Kościoła rozciągnęli na cały lud Boży. Braterską troską obejmujemy także zmarłych, którzy opuścili ten świat w miłości Chrystusowej i "poddają się oczyszczeniu" (por. LG 49). Przyglądając się naszym pracom apostolskim, stwierdzamy, że członkowie naszej wspólnoty są bardzo oddani służbie wiernym. W przeciągu ostatnich dwunastu lat liczba naszych placówek podwoiła się (z 32 na 64), podczas gdy liczba członków uległa zmniejszeniu. Ten stan rzeczy powoduje często przepracowanie, przemęczenie, rozbicie sił, a w konsekwenqi zmniejsza wydajność pracy. Chrystus polecił swym uczniom, aby pracowali i modlili się we wspólnocie: "Gdzie są dwaj, albo trzej zebrani w imię moje, tam jestem pośród nich" (Mt 18,19-20; także Łk 10,1 nn; Mk 6,7-12 i teksty parallel.). Czy w praktyce nie odeszliśmy od tej zasady? Wraz z całym Kościołem nasza Kapituła patrzy na pola "dojrzałe do żniwa", tak w krajach misyjnych, jak i na terenach pozbawionych dostatecznej liczby kapłanów. Dla zadośćuczynienia tym potrzebom, w których dostrzegamy znaki czasu, Kapituła our Constitutions and the latest Council so that our service "for Christ and the Church" would extend to all the people of God whom we serve, including our departed brothers and sisters who have left this world in the friendship of Christ and are undergoing purification. (Const 18; LG 49) A review of our apostolic involvement shows that we are a community of man dedicated to the service of people. The number of our houses in the past twelve years has doubled (from 32 to 64), yet the number of our members has diminished, thus our men are overworked, tired and spread out and perhaps less effective then they should be. Jesus commissioned his disciples to work and pray in community: "Where two or three are gathered in my name.." (Mt 18:19-20; also Lk 10:lss; Mk 6:7-12 and parallel texts). Have we too often in practice missed this point? So it is that with the whole Church our Chapter looks onto the fields white for harvest, both in mission territories as well as in countries deprived of sufficient priests. In order to meet these needs the Chapter, in keeping with the directives of Father Renovator, perceiving in them the signs of our times, turns to all the Fathers and Brothers of our Marian family, to arouse in every way among the laity, the responsibility for the progress of the faith and to engage them in the announcing of the Gospel.
