The work of renewing the Constitutions according to the intent of the Church (PC 2-3) began with the Special Chapter of 1969-1970, which gave us Constitutions based on those of 1930, the Instructions and Diary of our Renovator, the Norma Vitae of our Founder and many documents of the Church. The call of Vatican II to renewal and adaptation, was anticipated for us by Archbishop George when he wrote: "The Congregation should always strive to
