ing tied with a religious order founded not far from his own birthplace. He soon learned that not everything was ideal in this order. But he did not leave it in search of a better one. He was able to overcome the obstacles, to wait, and to prepare himself patiently for new tasks and duties. He gave a splen- did example to all of us, who so often give in to impa- tience, resignation, indifference, and flee from difficulties. He began the work of improving the Order by begin- ning with himself, with a steadfast realization of the ideal of the Marian life. With his eyes on Mary, the “Morning Star”, imitating her virtues according to the “Rule of the Ten Virtues” by which the Marians were bound, he became more and more united with Christ. At present, we do not have access to the documents concerning Father Casimir’s beatification process in which the witnesses testify to his heroic virtues. On the basis of his biography and of own his writings which are available to us, we can infer that everything he taught to others was a most precious treasure to himself as well. He educated generations of young Marians, pointing to Mary as a sign of victory of God’s grace over human weakness. He called upon them to imitate Mary.
