It was only at the request of Father Wyszy<ski that Bishop Kobielski arrived on June 8, 1749 to consecrate the church and solemnly install the Marians on their new foundation. Father Casimir personally participated in this celebra- tion, and in his letter to all the Marians dated June 3, 1749, he shared the following message : I also ask your fervent prayers for the installation of our fathers at Ra>na which will take place on a Sunday in the Octave of Corpus Christi. As I was returning from Vilnius, I unexpectedly received the decision of the most noble Bishop of +uck, stating that due to other engagements this matter should not be postponed any longer. During the first session of the annual meeting at the Korabiew Forest on June 28th of the same year, Father Wyszy<ski informed the General Council that Bishop Kobielski had approved the foundation in Ra>na and given permission to establish a Marian monastery there. When he asked the members of the council whether they would give their consent to do so, they answered unanimously that not only did they give their consent, but they heartily thanked the Superior General for all his efforts thus far. It was ordered that the report from the celebration and the cere- mony of the installation of the Marians in Ra>na be read in the refectory in the presence of the entire community.
