One might surmise that this book served Father Wyszy<ski as a commentary to the “Rule of the Ten Virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” by which the Marians were bound at that time. Upon announcing the general visi- tation, Father Wyszy<ski wrote in 1749 that he wanted to see whether the Marians did indeed live in the Marian spirit and whether they imitated the virtues of their Patroness. Like no one else before him, Father Casimir took care to spread the honor of Father Stanislaus Papczy<ski, the Founder of the Marians. To a great degree, Father Joachim Koz=owski was responsible for the fact that the Founder’s beatification process had not been started. Therefore, Father Casimir himself made efforts to bring about the ele- vation to the honors of the altar of the first Polish founder of a religious order. During the chapter of August 8, 1741, Father Casimir was entrusted with the office of the Superior of the monastery in G[ra Kalwaria. With the financial help in the amount of one thousand Polish zlotys which he had received from his brother Michael, he built a new monastery and renovated the Church of the Cenacle in G[ra Kalwaria. It was in this church that the earthly remains of Father Stanislaus Papczy<ski had been buried in soggy ground.
