But I hesitated, thinking, “How can I suddenly pray to someone with a name I can’t pronounce and of whom I have no knowledge!” Then I read “On Pilgrimage with Marian Founder” by Fr. Joseph, MIC, which noted how Fr. Papczynski was zealous in helping the souls in purgatory. I felt a connec- tion to him, as I offer my day for the souls in purgatory. As of now, after various tests, I am cancer free. — AA, Bridgeton, NJ Sleeping problem solved “Father Stan,” as I call him, has so many times helped me, especially with regards to my ailments. His latest help concerns my parents. My father was suffering from serious acid reflux and chills so much that he couldn’t get to sleep at night. That’s bad for a 74-year-old man with heart troubles and diabetes. He normally doesn’t pray novenas, but he agreed to pray the short novena to Fr. Stan.
