J ULY 91 He was a lector of philosophy and theology for 12 years. He distinguished himself by his regular observance. He is buried in the crypt of the church of the Reformed Franciscan Fathers in Warsaw. In 2003, Bishop ROMAN ANDRZEJEWSKI (And-zhe-yef-ski), the Auxiliary Bishop of Włocławek, died at the age of 65. He was a priest for 42 years and a bishop for 22. For 10 years he was associated with our Congregation in his prayers and spiritual merits. He practiced poverty, having resigned from amassing earthly goods. Upon his own request, he is buried in Licheń. J uly 8 On July 8, 1994, Father ANTHONY YLIUS , a member of the Lithuanian Province, died at the age of 85 in Siauliai, Lithuania. He was a religious for 68 years and a priest for 60. Ordained a priest in 1934, he was engaged in intense pastoral work and taught catechism in various schools. During World War II, he achieved good results in his pastoral and building work at Skardupia, regardless of the diffi- cult times. When Lithuania was occupied again by the Soviet Army in 1944, he served the Lithuanian partisans as chaplain. He was arrested in 1945, and sentenced to exile in prison camps of the Soviet Union. Owing to the general amnesty of 1956, he was able to return to his country, where, resisting recurrent Communist harass- ment and slanderous propaganda, he worked as a priest with great zeal, first at Les- ciai and then at Siauliai. During the last three years of his life, suffering from serious illness, he celebrated Mass at home. A talented writer, he dedicated some of his time to literary interests. He is buried with full military honors in the Marian Fathers’ cemetery in Marijampolė. J uly 9 On July 9, 2004, Father FELIX BARTECKI (Bar-tet-ski), age 79, died at our Licheń religious house in Poland. Among the various labors in service of our Congregation and the Church was his special work as a notary at the Warsaw Metropolitan Court of Law. His is buried in Licheń. J uly 10 On July 10, 1722, Brother ISIDORE of SAINT ADALBERT died at the monastery in Goźlin, where he is buried. In 1755, Brother FRANCIS KUCZEWSKI (Koo-chef-ski) died and was buried in the crypt of the Puszcza Korabiewska church. In 1829, Father FELIXHADRAVA , a Czech by birth and “Father of the Order Emeritus,” died at the age of 74 at the monastery in Raśna. He was a religious for
