s e P t emb e r s ePtember 1 On September 1, 1811, Father CLEMENT REDDIG , president of the mon- astery and lector of theology, died at the monastery in Puszcza Korabiewska at the age of 56. He had previously been anAssistant of the Order. He is buried in the crypt of the Puszcza Korabiewska church. In 1973, BrotherVINCENTKALINAUSKAS died inMarijampolė at the age of 78. He was a religious for 50 years, known for his diligence and humility. He is buried in Marijampolė. In 1991, Father THADDEUS PIECHOTA (P'ekho-ta) died of a heart attack at the age of 58 at the Licheń house, Poland. He was a member of the Polish Province, a religious for 39 years and a priest for 28. A simple and humble person, he was esteemed for his serenity and joy of spirit and his dedication and zeal in pas- toral activity in a number of parishes. During the last seven years of his life, he served at the Shrine of Our Lady of Licheń, where he fulfilled the duties of house treasurer. Avirtuous man, he distinguished himself by his obedience, poverty, and charity. He is buried in the crypt of the Puszcza Korabiewska church. In 1811, Father BERNARDWOJCIECHOWSKI (Voy-che-khof-ski) died at the monastery in Góra Kalwaria at the age of 63. A lector of theology and “Father of the Order Emeritus,” he was truly a “virtuous religious.” He is buried in Góra Kalwaria. In 1941, Father JOHN NAVICKAS , superior of the American Province of St. Casimir, died of a heart attack at the age of 46 in Worcester, Massachusetts while in office. He was a religious for 26 years and a priest for 21. He founded the school at Marianapolis. He was a talented man in the field of education and was endowed with a very charitable heart. He is buried close to the “Way of the Cross,” which he built on the school grounds. He is buried in Marianapolis.
