Mercy. Not all of them, however, are aware of The Divine Mercy message and the graces that flow from its spirituality and its forms of devotion. Nurses who share the message of mercy with as many priests as possible are not only performing spiritual works of mercy, but also enhancing their ministry of saving souls. By informing the priests, the nurses facilitate the spread of The Divine Mercy message, giving special vibrancy to the priestly ministry and everyone with whom the priest comes into contact. Empowered by God’s infinite mercy and love, they will bring its saving effects to all people. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy. I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy (687). Preparing for Christ’s Return Saint Paul tells us in Ephesians: that the Lord is going to come to claim His bride––the Church, who must be without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. This message of mercy prepares humanity to meet the Lord when He comes again. The Sacraments of Anointing of the Sick, Reconciliation, and Holy Communion are the very means of preparing for and receiving the Lord. Our Lord makes it very clear to St. Faustina that this need to proclaim His message of mercy is urgent, because the world needs it to prepare for His return: Speak to the world about My mercy. … It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the Day of Justice (848).
