Namely, Mother Irene says th a t it was she who went to the p a in te r with S is te r Fau s tina , while F a the r Sopocko says t h a t i t was S is te r Borgia. The m a t te r is explained thu s : a t f irs t the superior alone went with S is te r F au s tin a , b u t la te r she sen t S is te r Borgia more and more frequently in h e r place. In Ju n e 1934 Kazimierowski finished th e pa in ting and gave i t to F a th e r Sopocko. The picture shows Je su s in a long white robe with wide sleeves and with a cord b e lt - He is moving towards us stepping quickly. He is already so n e a r th a t He knows we m u s t have seen Him, so He h a s raised His r ig h t h an d in the gestu re of blessing - as if He in tended to make th e Sign of the Cross - and His left hand , lifting aside a fold of the robe a t His b reas t, shows two rays coming from His invisible Heart: one ray is t ra n sp a re n t and one is red.
