Jesus, Mercy Incarnate

Today the Lord said to me, “I have opened My Heart as a living fountain of mercy. Let all souls draw life from it. Let them approach this sea of mercy with great trust. Sinners will attain justification, and the just will be con- firmed in good. Whoever places his trust in My mercy will be filled with My divine peace at the hour of death.” O my Master, I surrender myself completely to You, who are the rudder of my soul; steer it Yourself according to Your divine wishes. I enclose myself in Your most compassionate Heart, which is a sea of unfathomable mercy. 58 (St. Faustina Kowalska) I was thus in converse with (Jesus), when again He made me enter the Wound of His side.... I cannot verywell describewhat I saw; my heart was being consumed in a great flame. I could not see the bottom of this abyss, for it is an immense space and full of light.
