Divine Mercy: The Heart of the Gospel

A Homily on The Divine Mercy 191 Continent, the message o f the Divine Mercy be better understood, (pre sent as it is in the ever living tradition o f the Church, reaffirmed and clarified through Blessed Faustina by means of her writings, and by the inspiring Image that Jesus, through her, has given to the whole world), and that we would be motivated to live, to celebrate and to communi cate to all the merciful love o f God. In this line o f thinking, it would be truly wonderful if the whole American Continent would celebrate together the Feast of The Divine Mercy, the Second Sunday o f Easter, as Jesus has asked o f us. May Our Lady o f Guadalupe, Mother of Mercy and Empress o f the Americas, to whom our Holy Father has committed the present and the future of the American Continent, intercede for each one o f us in order that, animated with the example o f Blessed Faustina and counting on her intercession, while we make our way to the Father’s House, we may be able to profess, proclaim, implore and practice Divine Mercy.
