Divine Mercy Weekend Program 2024

7 LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST OFFERTORY HYMN Alleluia, Give Thanks Refrain: Alleluia, alleluia! Give thanks to the risen Lord. Alleluia, alleluia! Give praise to His Name. Jesus is Lord of all the earth. He is the King of creation. Spread the good news o’er all the earth: Jesus has died and has risen. We have been crucified with Christ. Now we shall live forever. God has been proclaimed His gracious gift: Life eternal for all who believe. Come, let us praise the living God, Joyfully sing to our Savior. Guidelines for the Reception of Communion As Catholics, we fully participate in the celebration of the Eucharist when we receive Holy Communion. We are encouraged to receive Communion devoutly and frequently. In order to be properly disposed, we should not be conscious of grave sin and should have fasted for one hour before receiving Holy Communion. A person who is conscious of grave sin must not receive the Eucharist without prior sacramental Confession. For those receiving Communion, receiving on the tongue is encouraged. In the event of wind or rain, it may be required. For those of you who are not Catholic, we cannot admit you to Holy Communion, however, we encourage you to express in your hearts a prayer of desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another. COMMUNION HYMN Jesus, My Lord, My God, My All Refrain: Sweet Sacrament, we Thee adore! Oh, Make us love Thee more and more. Oh, Make us love Thee more and more.
