resolutions oF tHe General cHapter celebrateD in rome From February 6-23, 2017 Decree Decree for the superior General and his council: During the first three years of his term in the office, the Superior General shall prepare and ratify, with the consent of his Council, the Statutes for the status of Viri Aggregati . recommenDations recommendation no. 1 for the superiors of the provinces and vicariates: e bulletin of the General Curia MIC Information is published in Polish and English in electronic format only. e translation, printing and distribution of this bulletin are the responsibility of each Province. e superiors of the provinces and vicariates are to nominate regular correspondents for MIC Information . recommendation no. 2 for the General commission on the liturgy regarding the preparation of the set of texts regarding prayers for dead: e General Chapter recommends that the General Liturgical committee prepare a compilation of texts concerning “Prayers for the Dead” (i.e. praying for the deceased, the last things), in light of the Tradition of the Church, including our Marian patrimony, which could be the basis of a future supplemental liturgical lectionary for the Office of the Dead (for internal use only). 25
