Rejoice! Two days in May at the National Shrine were banner ones for Marian vocations and the future of the Catholic Church! On May 8, three seminarians were ordained to the transitional diaconate by Bishop Juan Miguel Betancourt, SEMV (above), the final step on the road to priesthood: (at right) Deacon Ruben Veloz, MIC, Deacon Christopher Orante, MIC, and Deacon Ryan Asensio, MIC. The following day, we welcomed the newest Marian priest: Fr. Patrick Lynch, MIC (above, ordained by Bishop Betancourt). Look for more photos and stories in the next Marian Helper.
