The Marian Fathers have launched an Urgent Appeal to build a new parking lot for disabled pilgrims at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy. As we ask you to assist us with this important project, we also seek the intercession of a great American saint. You see, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini (1850-1917), who founded the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart to care for poor and immigrant children in orphanages, schools, and hospitals, and the first American citizen to be canonized, is also the patron saint of parking.
