Live the call! Brother Eliott, MIC: My time with the Marians has been tremendous! I first encountered the Marians as a student at Franciscan University. The Marian brothers studying there were so friendly to me. I went on a “Come and See” retreat and discovered a strong community doing their best to strive for holiness. I was greatly impressed by the sincerity and genuineness of all the Marians. While on pilgrimage to the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, I saw the great work the Marians were doing for the Church. I was naturally drawn to the Marians’ life of prayer, community, and charism. Please pray for me! Write: Fr. My name is Aoife. I am 3 years old. I’m writing this for my Grandma to tell you the very special reason she was called to support the vocations of the Marian Helpers. In 2011, one of the seminarians asked for prayer requests to place in the chalice before his first Mass. My Grandma’s prayer request was “for a suitable Godly wife for my son.” God smiled! That wife is my Mommy, and my Grandma’s son is my Daddy, and I am God’s smile!
