Spring Marian Helper 2026

22 Marian Helper • Spring 2026 • Marian.org Iwant to introduce you to one of the greatest Marian saints in the history of the Church: St. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort (1673-1716). He was born in a region of what today is France into a wealthy and powerful family, but set most of that aside to pursue his vocation to the priesthood and to a life as a Third Order Dominican. He was outstanding for his works of mercy and service to the poor, known in his own lifetime for extraordinary sanctity, love of God and neighbor, and preaching the Word of God. Saint Louis stands out as another extraordinary contribution of the “eldest daughter of the Church” to Christ and His Church. He was and remains an exceptional promoter of devotion to Our Lady, she who is the Immaculate Conception, the Mother of the Church, and the Mother of Mercy. He’s a great model of exactly the sort of Marian spirituality that my religious Congregation, the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is dedicated to living and spreading.
