It’s called “The Eden Hill Hymn,” and dates to the opening of the Shrine church in 1962. Father Seraphim Michalenko, MIC, of happy memory, wrote the lyrics, with the musical arrangement set to Beethoven’s “Pastorale.” It was traditionally sung during the annual Marian Week celebrations in August, during the candlelight procession to honor, as the opening verse goes, “Our Lady, the Queen of Eden Hill.”
