Graces Received ‘The pain is gone!’ I had to write you regarding a miracle that happened to me. I am a Stage 5, end of life kidney patient who is on dialysis three times a week. From the time I started dialysis a year and a half ago, I was in MASSIVE pain to the point of almost ending my life. The pain I experienced was unimaginable. I cried into a pillow due to the screams I made. I went from one doctor to another, and no one ever heard of a patient experiencing such pain. I tried every pain pill, to no avail. As a last resort, as I was reading about Blessed George in Marian Helper, I decided to start praying to him. Within two weeks my prayers were heard and answered. Truly a miracle! It has been two weeks and the pain is GONE! I have perfect treatments now. I truly believe in miracles and the POWER OF PRAYER! I knew the time for departure was approaching about two months in advance, and although I had years of experience and many contacts and friends, it was an anxious time. It was preceding my imminent departure that I began to pray to Blessed George and ask him for guidance. I put my trust in him to help me find my way. On March 5, I left my employment and had no certain employment arranged but fortunately had some good conversations going on. On March 11 (the anniversary date of my mother’s passing), I received an offer beyond my expectations, both financially and otherwise. In fact, another opportunity also presented itself and although busy I am nowmanaging a full and part-time job. I directly attribute this to Blessed George’s intercession on my behalf. My son graduated from Belmont Abbey College in May 2021 but had not found a job. I was saying prayers for him to find good work and then read about Blessed George. I made a nine-day Novena to him requesting my son find employment that would enable him to continue practicing his faith. Blessed George found him a good, entry-level position with a company owned by one of the parishioners at our church. His second day there, he ran into another employee with whom he had attended some youth programs. He was contacted for an interview for a state position after he started work but declined it, realizing he had good employment with good people.
