22 Marian Helper • Fall 2022 • Marian.org Adjacent to the left front side of the Marian Helpers Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, are the Our Lady of Mercy Oratory and Candle Shrine. Sharing a wall with the Oratory is the office of the Divine Mercy Intercessory Prayerline. People call or write this office from all over the U.S., and even other countries, to leave their intentions with one of our intercessors. The Prayerline receives all the requests for prayers sent to the Marian Helpers Center — phone calls (1-800804-3823), voicemails, emails (Marian.org/prayerline), and snail mail. We receive more than 10,000 calls every month, but we are committed to pray with each one individually. When Fr. Jim McCormack, MIC, asked me to consider taking on the position of prayerline supervisor for one year, I was surprised at the choice.
