Marian Helper Fall 2015

‘Howwe heard the call’ Mary and Gene Boteler: We’ve attended the Divine Mercy Chapel in Brookeville, Maryland, for more than 35 years. How could we not support these young men who we’ve seen develop from novices into leaders? We are grateful and humbled the Lord has allowed us to witness these committed young men of varied talents serve and help lead an increasingly diverse Church. Brother Michael Baker, MIC: I was praying in front of a statue of Our Lady of Fatima when I heard an interior voice say to me, “I’m going to give you a gift on your birthday, but you’re not going to figure it out right away.” That “gift” ended up being my vocation to the Marian Fathers. And five years later, this “gift” of my vocation has con- tinued to be a source of grace in my life. Write: Fr.
