the total consecration to Jesus through Mary, Fr. Michael explained, “Because we’re all called to be saints, we might as well take the quickest, surest, most easy, perfect way. Saint Maximilian Kolbe had the attitude, ‘If this is true, then we need to get as many people consecrated to Jesus through Mary and as quickly as possible.’ So, inspired by St. Maximilian Kolbe, we think that this is one of the ways to give the greatest possible glory to God. “The reason why it’s the quickest, easiest, surest way to holiness is that Mary has a special role in helping us to accept, to receive, and to trust in the mercy of God,” he continued. “We as Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception know the great need for mercy in the world. Mary’s the one who prepares hearts in the best way to receive Divine Mercy. She’s the first wave of our evangelization efforts. Getting people conse- crated to Mary opens people’s hearts to the most important message of our times: the message of Divine Mercy.” And it’s vital that people pursue sanctity, concluded Fr. Michael. “We learn in the Diary of St. Faustina that this is a time of mercy fol- lowed by a time of justice, and that there’s not any time to lose. The Lord wants us to grow in holiness — He’s emphasizing it not only through Church documents but through the testimony of so many saints and blesseds. He’s making it so easy to grow in holiness. We just have to say yes to Him. We have to trust in His mercy. A great way to grow in holiness is to entrust ourselves to His mother.” You can support Fr.
