232 Theological Foundations other schools, in particular the influence of the Augustinian school on Father Papczynski and of the Jesuit school on Father Matulaitis- Matulewicz. Such influences can indeed be seen in the teaching of these two authors, but this is a task for researchers who delve into the realm of spirituality. It is my hope that this work will help to create greater interest in the person of the Venerable Servant of God, Father Stanislaus Papczynski as we enter the last stage of his beatification process and that it will inspire greater veneration for Blessed George Matulaitis-Matulewicz and has- ten the process of his canonization.
