105 ORDER OF ADMISSION AND INVESTITURE I ntroductory R ites When the people or simply the members of the confraternity have gathered, the celebrant enters during the singing of a hymn suited to the particular celebration. After the singing, the celebrant says: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. All make the sign of the cross and reply: Amen. The celebrant greets those present in the following words: Through the Son, born of Mary, every blessing comes to us from God our Father. May His grace and peace be with you all. All reply: And with your spirit.
