Then, in 1989, after more historical scrutiny by the Congregation for Saints, the Holy See rec- ognized the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Father Casimir, who now bears the title of “Venerable.” Thus, a miracle obtained by his intercession and recognized as such by the Holy See, is now the only thing necessary for his beatification. What does “Venerable Servant of God” mean ? It means that after thoroughly examining all the available evidence, the Church had found sufficient proof that the person in question has reached such a state of holiness that he or she acted consistently with perfect virtue.
