Servant of Mary new file

he pointed out that it was a change of Christian life that was necessary. Therefore, he attempted to incorporate in Marian devotions the practice of imitating Mary’s attitude as it was expressed in her relation to God, her love of Christ, and in the manner she lived her life, according to the teachings of the Gospel. Such an emphasis was neces- sary as much in the 18th century as it is today. For one cannot forget Christ’s warning that it is not enough to praise God with our lips and be satisfied merely with the outward manifestations of the faith. It is the effort to fulfill God’s will in every sphere of our lives that gives us the guarantee of salvation. This is the attitude that Mary teaches us. Therefore, we should stake everything on Mary as she is the Morning Star that points to Christ, the Sun of Justice. Imitating the attitude of Christ’s Mother leads us to be more closely tied to the lives of others. Her eyes noticed the needs of others, they saw the humble and the hungry whom God fills with good things . Throughout his entire life, Father Wyszy<ski steadfastly strove after holiness, and Mary Immaculate, the Morning Star showed him the way. People saw his holiness, and were drawn to him to seek his support. Meeting him prompted them to work at their own improvement and to be kind to others. On the basis of his biography, it may be concluded that he con- tributed a lot to the rebirth of the nation; he tried to over- come the decline of the Saxon epoch. His influence reached beyond the borders of his homeland, which he loved and whose welfare he desired. Awaiting the Beatification 76
