It was submitted to Pope Innocent XII on September 13, 1692, and it was customarily delivered on the same day to the Sacred Congregation for Bishops and Religious pro voto, i.e., to acquire its opinion on the subject. However, before forming its own opinion, the Congregation had to wait for the opinions and information which were requested from the Apostolic Nuncio in Poland by a letter of September 5, 1692. We know from Fr.
