18 PROPER OF SAINTS February 4 Saint Joan of France, Religious Memorial Entrance Antiphon I am like a growing olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the mercy of God, for ever and ever. Cf. Ps 52 (51):10 COLLECT O God, who called your handmaid blessed Joan of France to seek you before all else, grant that, serving you, through her example and intercession, with a pure and humble heart, we may come at last to your eternal glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. GENERAL INTERCESSIONS PRIEST’S Today as we celebrate INTRODUCTION the memorial of Saint Joan of France, let us humbly pour forth our prayers to God the Father (who calls us to live according to the Marian Constitutions). INTENTIONS 1. That we may pray and labor for the salvation of souls and the glory of God with the same zeal as Saint Joan, let us pray to the Lord. Response: Lord, hear our prayer. 2. That we may, by following Saint Joan’s example, always seek God’s will in all things, let us pray to the Lord. ℟. 3. That God may grant the sick courage and patience in their suffering, let us pray to the Lord. ℟.
