Congregation for the Saints, instructed them to prepare an ap- propriate decree on the heroic virtue of the Servant of God. When his directive had been carried out, the Holy Father called in the Cardinals, the undersigned Prefect, Cardinal A.M. Deskur, the presenter, and myself, the Bishop’s Secretary, along with all other persons who must be called according to custom, and in their presence solemnly pronounced the following: “It has been recognized as certain in the presently discussed case and all its consequences that the Servant of God Casimir of St. Joseph Wyszyński practiced the theological virtues of faith, hope and love of God and neighbor, as well as the cardinal virtues of prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude alongwith related virtues, to an heroic degree.” The Holy Father ordered this decree to be publicly proclaimed and deposited in the archives of the Congregation for the Saints.
