I am happy to report that not only was the operation a success, but she has started to heal. — NM, Syosset, New York Able to avoid a fourth surgery I had open-heart surgery about two years ago. Six months after the surgery, I fell and injured my shoulder. While at the hospital, I underwent routine tests. The tests revealed that I needed a pacemaker. As I was recovering from the surgery for the pacemaker, I had to undergo abdominal surgery. Through all this, my shoulder continued to give me problems. My doctor wanted to do surgery to repair it. At the time, I felt I was not able to undergo yet another surgery. I prayed to Blessed George to intercede and allow me to avoid the surgery ... and he did! Within days my shoulder began to feel better. Since then I have had minimal problems with it.
