For all those who are suffering in body, mind, or spirit, or who are struggling to overcome temptation and persecution, that they may cooperate with God’s grace to persevere and grow in holiness, let us pray to the Lord. ℟. 5. For the faithful departed, that they may soon enjoy the Marriage Banquet of the Lamb, let us pray to the Lord. ℟. PRIEST’S PRAYER O God, whose Son suffered and died so that we might live, hear the prayers we have laid before you. Grant us what we need and lead us to faithfulness and peace, to serve as your Son served, and to love as He loved. Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
