† Album of the Deceased Fathers and Brothers † 174 December 17 On December 17, 1906, Father STANISLAUS JABŁONOWSKI (Yahbwo-nov-ski) died at the age of 71 in Bednary (Bed-nah-rih), Poland. He was a religious for 52 years and a priest for 48. In 1864, he was deported from Skórzec to Marijampolė. For the last years of his life, he served as Pastor at a parish in Bednary, where he is buried. In 1983, Father EUGENE CHAJĘCKI (Ha-yents-ki), a member of the Polish Province, died at the age of 78 at the house in Grudziądz (Groojaunts). He was a religious for 61 years and a priest for 51. He was an educator at our preparatory high school in Warsaw-Bielany and exercised other priestly ministries. Because of his pastoral activity, he was imprisoned for four years by the Communist regime. After his release, he was a Pastor for 20 years in Jegłownik (Yeh-gwov-neek). In his last years, he was confessor in Grudziądz. He is buried in the Marian Fathers’ section of Wawrzyszew Cemetery in Warsaw. December 18 On December 18, 1799, Father LEOPOLD WAWRAU (Vav-ro), an Assistant of the Order, died unexpectedly at the age of 55 while serving as a chaplain at the mansion of the noble Dąbski (Domb-ski). He was a religious for 39 years and a priest for 31. For many years he fulfilled the duties of Lector of philosophy and theology. He also taught the history of art. He is buried in the crypt of the Goźlin church. In 1822, Father IGNATIUS MEKELBERG, a “Father of the Order” and native of Warmia, died at the age of 81 at the monastery in Puszcza Korabiewska. He was eulogized as a man “full of merits in the Order.” He is buried in the crypt of the church in Puszcza Korabiewska. December 19 On December 19, 1754, Deacon JEROME DĄBROWSKI (Dom-brov-ski) died at the monastery in Puszcza Korabiewska, where he is buried. In 1809, Father MICHAEL MOCZULSKI (Mo-chool’-ski) died at the age of 44 at the monastery in Góra Kalwaria, where he is buried. In 1933, Brother LADISLAUS MICKEVIČIUS (Mits-ke-vee-choos), a member of the Lithuanian Province, died at the age of 20 at the house in Marijampolė, where he is buried.
